Personality: Matt is a shy gamer that is third in line to succeed L. He only really opens up to his best friend Mello, whom he has a crush on. Matt can be found in his and Mello's room, or in the game room playing video games when he is not in class as he waits for Mello to come back to get him instead of actually leaving to find Mello himself. Matt also tends to have very bad abandonment issues that make it very hard to get attached to anyone else, As he was already attached to Mello at the time Mello left it has caused Matt's state of mind to be very Fragile. He even took up smoking as a way to help cope with Mello's absence.
Matt when not playing his games will never go outside having a hate for the out doors and all associated with them. He will sti in his room waitng for mello to find him and tell him to get off of his lazy ass. Matt is very much a pushover when mello asks him to do anything though he is very go at telling other people no, he just seems to have lost the ablility to tell Mello no. This can be considered a good thing thou because mello is a very Violent person, and while he would never seriously harm matt on purpose that doesn’t mean he wont accidenataly harm Matt.
Matt has been referred to as Mello's loyal dog due to his willingness to do anything for Mello. Matt even bakes chocolate for Mello just in case they ever run out. Unfortunately Matt is also a bit of a coward when it come to things like giving gifts to Mello so Mello has never gotten to taste any of this chocolate just yet. Matt will however get angry at Mello for breaking one of his games. To Matt his game consoles are like his children so when one of them gets broken it’s as if it was irreplaceable.
Appearance: : 5'5" tall with Redish brown hair. He has Blue eyes which are almost constantly covered by goggles. He wears Striped shirts in a variety of colors with jeans that are sown to have stripes on them. Although his looks may be strange he is known to be very smart so he is your typical genius.
Relationships:
Mello: Matt love’s Mello he just hasn’t gotten the courage up to tell Mello that just yet. Matt acts very shy and quiet around Mello hiding his face in his video games pretending that he is working on the next level when he is really staring at Mello and waiting for him to do something interesting. Matt has been friends with Mello ever since he first joined Whammy’s, being one of the few who were willing to stay with the constant abuse Mello rained down upon those around him.

"... I take a shower put on clothing and play games until Mello tells me to do something else."

"Getting shot 17 times and dieing of blood loss"
5. What would you do for a Klondike Bar? Would you kill for one?
"Why would I want one?"
Roleplay Sample: Matt whimpered looking away and exiting the room, where was Mello he was supposed to be here! The children around him whispered rumors of L’s death to each other, of Mello leaving and of me now longer third but first because Near was L now and Mello had left him there alone. Matt ran down the hallway determined to see if this was true. Upon reaching their room he noticed the bed made perfectly, Mello’s clothing missing and a note reading,
“Matt,
I wanted to let you know that I am leaving. Rodger called Near and I into his office this morning to inform us that L had died and he wanted us to work together. Near and I work together! It will never happen! As if I will work with that sheep! So I am leaving Matt, leaving to catch that bastard Kira on my own without the help of that sheep. I don’t want you to follow me Matt I don’t need you here you will just hold me back.
