L is a very complex person. He tends to stay away from society, working on cases from the safety of hotel rooms which he changes every week when working on case that takes him away from Whammy’s house. When not on a case he enjoys staying at Whammy’s where he barely leaves the floor he has claimed for his own. When he does he prefers to keep in the company of his top three or four successors calling them to his room to meet them when a new person takes the third spot of jumps to a higher position.
L is very socially awkward, not understanding how to act or dress when there are more than just him and Whammy or, or him and his successors. L will do many things that would be perceived as rude or uncouth to do in public, such as the world’s greatest detective walking around with un-brushed hair, and in blue jeans and a long sleeved plain white shirt. L has many strange habits which will be listed down below. His typical day includes no sleep if he is on a case the only time he tends to sleep is when not working on a case and he is safe at Whammy’s house.
L’s diet consists purely of sweets and things that can be eaten with sweets or have a sweet taste to them. He prefers cheesecake to most things especially if it is strawberry. When taking tea or coffee he prefers enough sugar in it to make it into more of a syrup than anything else. His explanation for this obscene diet is that as long as one uses their brain they burn of all of the sugar before they will gain a pound. Unfortunately this is wrong so please do not try to copy what he does, L just happens to have an extremely fast metabolism.
L is very stubborn and child like in the way he acts using the “an eye for an eye” method of revenge which he can most certainly carry out through his mastery of many martial arts, though he favors Caporia. L will have his way of doing things and you cannot get around it because he will have a plausible explanation for the way he is doing it no matter which angle you try to argue with him about it. It is simpler to just let him have his way and trust that he has thought it out and everything will go as planned.
Appearance:
L ‘s hair looks like he never brushes it though if you were to run you hand through it you would be surprised to find it silky and free of any tangles of hair product as well as clean. His hair naturally takes the shape it is seen in and he couldn’t bother to change that. L wears a normal pair of blue jeans actually going for comfort with the special made shirts designed to look like a long sleeved T-shirt, but is really a loose knit top made of Cashmere.
Relationships:
BB: L’s relationship with B is complicated. During the LABB Murder Case L was the detective going after B to capture him and send him to an Asylum. After letting him out of the Asylum to help him on the Kira case B has become more of a menace/lover to L. L supply’s B with Jam of his choice of flavoring as well as watching him every hour of the day for Beyond’s help on cases. L call’s him B, BB or Beyond when talking to him on rare occasions L will call him Backup to provoke a reaction from him.
Light: L believes Light to be one of his first friends as well as Kira. While there may be a very large gap between the two things he thinks Light is this does not mean L is conflicted in his thoughts. L is a detective first friend second, meaning he will not wavier in sending his friend to the firing squad once his guilt is proven. He will feel a bit of regret that one of the greatest minds has fallen to what Kira is but there is no other option.

“I would use my Caporia to take him down he would not get away with this either. I would then use my skills as a detective to capture him. Although this brings up the Question of why I was in the alleyway to begin with.”

“I would have Whammy turn it into the authorities. I have no use for the money and someone must be missing it as well.”
3. To get ready in the morning what do you do?
“First I get out of bed and change into a new pair of pants and a new shirt then I quickly brush through my hair letting it fall as it will before leaving my room to go work on my next case.”
4. If you had to choose a gruesome way to die what would it be?
“Why would I have to choose one? There are far too many to narrow it down to as well as all of the murders I have seen would have to be taken into account.”

L stared at the people on the computer screen, all of them were suspects in the latest case and there was far too many things that could go wrong if the killer decided to make himself known at this point in time.
“Be careful Whammy there is far too much at stake at this point in time.” Looking over the screen he watched as a man reached into his pocket to pull out a knife. “Whammy direct the police to Mr. Burgerson please. Mr. Burgerson is about to make Mr. Burgerson’s move then get out of there before it gets too bad.
L watched as Whammy followed his orders and pulled out just before the police burst in to make the arrest. Letting out a slight sigh of relief as the case was now closed he nodded to the screen before marking the case as solved. If only there was a case that could hold his attention for longer or be challenging to L. The world’s criminals seemed to be losing intelligence as time wore on and fewer cases were catching his eye as something that would be interesting to have to work on. Suddenly a new case popped up. Criminals were being Killed in prisons around the world all of heart attacks or natural causes but there were far too many for it to be a coincidence. This case… It would promise to be entertaining.
“Whammy? I would like to bring me all the information collected on this Kira Case and Inform Interpol that I will be taking the head of the investigation”
